Amrita Chattopadhyay

Practice

At IIHS, Amrita is an intern with the Practice Programme, working on the ‘Sustainable Cities MOOC’ project. She wrote her Masters’ Thesis on the Urban History of Kolkata : A study on the history of Attar (perfumes) and its impact on urban spaces and communities. The key areas of her interest are Urban History, Social History of Commodities and Settlement Patterns.

Prior to IIHS, Amrita worked with Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy and the East Kolkata Wetlands Conservation Project.
