Shamna M Yaseen is an architect-planner who has completed her postgraduation in environmental planning from the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Bhopal. Her areas of interest and expertise in the sector include spatial and non-spatial analysis for sanitation planning, and stakeholder engagement especially working with government systems and research.

 

She has been part of IIHS since 2021, working with the Tamil Nadu Urban Sanitation Support Programme (TNUSSP). At TNUSSP, she works on governance and regulation (including support for the Government of Tamil Nadu), institutional strengthening, improving access to FSM (treatment facilities), spatial planning and data visualisation/analysis, and project communications support.
