Prasanth Kumar K is currently working with IIHS, Chennai, as a Media Specialist. Earlier, while working with Zth Orbit, a PR company, he was associated with government bodies like Greater Chennai Corporation, Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board and Chennai Metro Water Board. During the pandemic, he did documentation, and also won a photography competition organised by the Thiruvallur District Collectorate. While doing his postgraduation at the University of Madras, he taught tribal children, as part of a project organised by the Journalism and Communication Department. He is passionate about teaching photography to children. His other interests include cinematography and video editing.
