Pooja has a Master’s degree in City and Regional Planning with a specialisation in transportation and a certificate in Geographic Information System (GIS). During her Masters, she worked with the Center for Quality Growth and Regional Development (CQGRD) on school accessibility in Sacramento and San Diego and with the Garrow Travel Demand Modelling Research Group, investigating demand substitution effects between ambulance and paratransit service.
Prior to her Masters, Pooja worked on several planning projects with the Urban Informatics Lab at IIHS. . She also worked on the implementation of mobility plans in Tumkur with the Center for Infrastructure, Sustainable Transportation and Urban Planning at IISc, Bengaluru.
Pooja now works with the Practice Team and the Geospatial Lab at IIHS.
