Neha Maria is an economics graduate from Azim Premji University. She is part of the Urban Informatics Lab where she supports researchers across schools as well as within the lab with data and statistics. She has worked with secondary datasets such as the National Family Health Survey, Periodic Labour Force Survey, CapEx, as well as primary health data to understand a wide range of research and policy questions pertaining to child health, urban employment, informal economy, industries and so on.

 

Projects she is currently working on include the CAP 2030 dashboard, framing a labour profile of the informal economy for the Karnataka Labour Policy (KLP) Committee, undertaking primary health data analysis from creches in Gujarat, and an analytical study of geographical patterns in child stunting in Karnataka.

 

Neha enjoys regional literature and tending to her tulsi plant.
