Janani is a media and public policy professional with experience in the development sector. Her interests lie in social justice, governance, public health, environment and nature. Before joining IIHS, Janani worked at South Indian AIDS Action Programme India where she engaged in research and policy advocacy for the decriminalisation of sex work in India, and for increasing access of sex workers to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health. She has a passion for reporting and writing, and have contributed stories to several media agencies.

 

At IIHS, Janani is a part of the communication team for the Solar Decathlon India project in the Sustainable Energy Lab.
