Harish G

Harish G holds a postgraduate degree from the CEPT University, Ahmedabad, with a specialisation in infrastructure engineering design. He works in the environmental and public health domain, which involves water, wastewater management, sanitation, solid waste management, septage and drainage. Harish has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology and began his career in the design field. He previously worked as a Research Associate (Consultant) at the Center for Water and Sanitation, CEPT University, Ahmedabad, where he provided support and guidance to cities in Maharashtra to achieve the goal of sustainable sanitation, and conducted workshops on governance and infrastructure for urban development. He also prepared feasibility reports and detailed project reports for various infrastructure facilities and provided technical support to cities to implement various infrastructure projects in the water and sanitation sector.

At IIHS, Harish works with the Urban Practitioners’ Programme. His role involves training, teaching and supporting research and consulting activities in the environmental service and public health domain. He also supports writing proposals, detailing methodologies, carrying out primary and secondary research, data analysis and visualisation, and writing reports.
