Asha Prakash is a postgraduate in English Literature from EFLU, Hyderabad. She worked as a feature writer and copy editor with mainstream print media in Kochi, Kerala, for 10 years during which period she published numerous articles on environment and animal welfare, history and heritage, and more. She later took a break and freelanced for a few years; when she did translations, wrote articles for multiple publications and also authored three chapters of a book on the history of Kochi; before she decided to take a different route and try out Communications.


At IIHS, Asha is part of the institutional Communications & Design team, working on various communication products including newsletters, social media content and the website, while contributing ideas to campaigns and other modes to enhance visibility for the various things that IIHS does.


Her interests include comic books, doodling, DIY craft projects and gardening besides travelling.
