Asha Jhina’s prior experience in journalism and in the cultural development sector has led to an interest in understanding audiences, curating digital and physical experiences, and finding new ways of engaging the public. At IIHS, Asha is part of the Word Lab and provides editorial support for various institutional publications.
Asha also works with the IIHS Library, helping build its profile and public programming. She helps organise institutional events such as webinars and exhibitions, and is part of the programming team of City Scripts and Public Texts.
Prior to IIHS, Asha worked as a reporter and creative producer with NDTV, The Quint and Otus Media covering the arts, culture, and technology. She has also worked in the cultural space where she designed strategies and programmes for museums, galleries, and other cultural institutions to meaningfully engage with their audiences and develop capacity.
