Suchismita Chaudhuri

Suchismita is pursuing Integrated M. Tech in Geoinformatics, with primary specialisation in Urban Studies and its application using Remote Sensing and GIS techniques. She has worked on areas which focus on interaction between urban areas and the surrounding natural environment. Her B. Tech project focused on Urban Ecosystem Services. She has a special interest in social and environmental aspects of Urban Studies. As part of the internship, she is keen to understand India’s urbanisation patterns with the help of IIHS’ India Urban Atlas.

At IIHS, Suchismita is interning with Geospatial Lab.
