Practice
Jessica George is interning with IIHS on the India Vision 2030, Urbanisation film, Sustainable Cities Indicators report for the SDSN, and a MOOC on sustainable cities. Jessica is pursuing her MS in Urban Planning at Columbia University’s GSAPP with a focus on international economic development. Her research interests include investigating the role of industrial and technological policies in economic and social development, as well as the relationships and interactions between government, private entities, and civil society under these policies. She is also interested in comparative studies of the form of development of particular sectors between different countries and between different urban regions within a single country in terms of social and spatial equity.
