IIHS have excelled in global and domestic collaborative research, building a knowledge ecosystem of networks and partnerships critical for building a global reputation and for undertaking interdisciplinary research.
Researchers at IIHS have established long-term collaborations for research through partnerships with leading global universities, including University of Oxford, Cambridge University, Harvard University, Yale University, University of California, Berkeley, Columbia University, MIT, University College London (UCL), University of Cape Town (UCT), as well as global multilateral institutions such as the World Bank and several UN agencies.
IIHS also has partnerships with several leading Indian academic institutions including seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), five Central universities, the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), CEPT University and public research institutes like the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), and the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU).
