Vidushi completed her Bachelors in Physical Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi in May 2017. She strives to explore the field of Planning and the way it impacts human settlements in particular and society in general. Being an active student and a keen learner, she has participated in several conferences, voluntary surveys, training programmes, talks, etc. Her interests in the field include GIS technologies, their applications, demographic analysis, Land Records Management Information Systems etc.

During the course of her education, she completed two full time internships and several part time freelance projects. Her first internship was with the University of Melbourne in 2015 where she worked as a Research Assistant for an analysis of housing shortage and demographic patterns in 4 countries (Australia, Brazil, Japan and England). She did her second full time internship with IIHS, New Delhi in 2016 where she worked on the Land Project for the analysis of ‘State Assessment Framework’. She has also been a part of a study conducted by National Council for Applied Economic Research in 2014-15, which involved the preparation of an analysis report for changing the reserve price of the un-auctioned DDA commercial and residential plots. In 2016 she was a part of an audit team for the assessment of by-laws compliance in the ‘Mahagun Mascot’ apartments in Noida.

Owing to her interest in developing new ideas and attempting to apply technologies for smarter analysis, she came out with a GIS-based statistical cartographic technique for identification of issues at a regional level (for the region of Nalagarh and Dharampur blocks in Himachal Pradesh). Currently, she is writing a paper for SPACE magazine on the same subject. Her other interests include sketching, cooking and dancing. She has a huge interest in sports, especially Table Tennis.
