Sameer has been working  in the rural areas of Simdega, Jharkhand. exploring the scope of manufacturing organic products similar to  SELCO Foundation.

 

As a student of Sustainable Livelihoods, Natural Resource Governance understanding the intricacies and processes of policy making, multi-level planning and implementation  were the sole focus of his pedagogy while policy research and devising implementation framework were integral parts.

 

Sameer’s experience as a development professional with Professional Assistance for Development Action – PRADAN, helped him understand that an efficient developmental intervention can be made only through a critical comprehensive analysis of the grass-root situation. At the  Tata Institute of Social Sciences he developed his skill to contextualize any local situation with global scenario which in his views is  key to an in-depth analysis.
