15 December 2017 – 13 April 2018 | Profile shared during internship at IIHSAvijit’s key interest is modelling ‘socio-economic metabolism’ of systems. In his master’s project he has worked on creating such a model for the kindergarten system of Norway.
At IIHS, Avijit is involved in developing a metabolism model of the newly planned 55 acre Kengeri campus. In this ecologically monitored site, his work will simulate the stock-flows of the built environment. It will be used for resource monitoring and both short-term and long-term evaluation of the site.
Apart work, Avijit is a stand-up comedian, voice artist and a TEDx speaker.
