Sandeep Viswanath has worked on films on issues of child labour, landless labourers, subaltern labour in Bollywood, water management in cities and Mumbai mill era. He has produced documentaries in Bhil and Pawri languages using participatory media approach. His research interests in labour rights, food, culture and film production. He is passionate about teaching. He is an alumni of TISS, Mumbai. He is currently pursuing a practice-based PhD in Bangalore.
