Abstract:

This report profiles Karnataka, focusing on the Kalyana Karnataka districts of Kalaburagi, Bidar, and Yadgir. Drawing on secondary data, policy analysis, and field insights, it examines the intersections of climate change, migration, and rural livelihoods. It highlights regional disparities, climate-induced agricultural vulnerability, and the centrality of seasonal migration, while underscoring the role of institutions in enabling inclusive, climate-resilient development pathways.
