Suman Chatterjee comes with almost 30 years of experience in higher education institutions and corporations across India, Malaysia and Bangladesh. Just before joining IIHS, he worked with the Asian University for Women (AUW) in Chittagong, Bangladesh for more than seven years, where he managed admissions, outreach and student affairs. Before AUW, Suman held diverse roles across institutions, including Macmillan Publishers, Manipal Global and Manipal International University, Malaysia.
Suman completed his secondary schooling in Siliguri, West Bengal and then moved to New Delhi where he did his BCom (Hons) from Delhi University followed by a PGDBM in Marketing from IIPM, New Delhi. He has also completed several certifications in his fields of work, including Digital Marketing. Suman is an avid reader, badminton player and sports enthusiast, and is passionate about music, both western and Indian.
