Pranjal Kumar Hazarika has 30+ years of technical experience in various capacities.
He started his career with Software Research Group, a company credited with India’s first bi-lingual software. In the following years, he has worked in various companies as Amiga computer support, web developer, 3D graphics animator, post-production compositor and IT infrastructure maintainer.
Along the way, he has developed a few Android apps, including a live streaming video display, video conversion software for Windows and OSX, digital news gathering software for live AV transmission, video streaming encoder and decoder for transmission of channel stream to teleport and an interface for remote control of Black Magic Design’s HyperDeck Studio Recorder.
At IIHS, Pranjal works with various functions using the Media Asset Management system by providing support and guidance in standardising the operating procedures, tagging process and framework, administering the Media Asset Management software and user management. He also supports the IT team by assisting in implementation of various technical solutions and projects.
