Lakshmi manages the development and delivery of digital blended learning programmes at IIHS.

 

She has 25 years of techno-managerial experience in eLearning, IT and Electronics industries. Prior to joining IIHS, she worked at TalentQuest Learning (erstwhile Purpleframe Technologies), Wipro Technologies and ITI Ltd.

 

At TalentQuest, Lakshmi managed end-to-end execution of large eLearning projects, primarily for the engineering vertical, which included GE transportation, Jacksonville Transportation Authority, Universal Alloy Corporation and Heavy Equipment Colleges of America; and engineering schools, which included National University of Singapore and PES university). The work done for NUS won the Global Learn Tech Award of the year 2015.

 

In addition to project management, her responsibilities included training/learning needs analysis, curriculum and instructional design strategy definition, proposals, conceptualisation and design of highly interactive 2D/3D animations, assessments, scientific simulations and serious games.  The target audiences for some of the projects she worked on were operators of locomotives, hybrid buses, heavy construction equipmentand hot aluminum extrusion presses.

 

Prior to TalentQuest, Lakshmi was with Wipro Technologies where she managed outsourced software projects, and also initiated and managed development of own software products under Wipro’s innovation council funding. She headed centers-of-excellence where she recruited, trained and built large sized teams in short time frames in preparation of upcoming business in niche technology areas. At Wipro, she trained over 250 people on the Agile project methodology and facilitated projects as a scrum master.

 

Lakshmi has also guided students for final year BE, ME and MCA projects during her years at TalentQuest, Wipro and ITI.

 

Lakshmi is fond of nature and animals and enjoys spending time with children.
