A Bengaluru native with an MBA in Marketing and Finance, Junaid brings extensive experience across sales, marketing, and programme management. He began his career in international sales with Fleming Gulf, gaining exposure to event management in the Gulf region, and later joined Evolve Ventures (Swatch) as Cluster Manager, where he managed multiple retail outlets, driving operations, sales growth, and brand visibility.
He subsequently worked as Area Sales Manager at Karma Healthcare Limited, overseeing regional channel sales across Karnataka and parts of Goa, with responsibilities spanning dealer network expansion, market coverage, warehouse management, institutional sales, and accounts receivable.
Prior to joining IIHS, Junaid worked at IIM Bangalore as Programme Administrator, managing end-to-end programme execution, including logistics, scheduling, and resource coordination. He later advanced to Assistant Manager, Executive Education, where he led initiatives in marketing, client acquisition, CRM, and digital strategy, while managing vendor relationships, event logistics, collateral design, and video production to ensure timely and high-quality programme delivery.
Junaid combines his strategic marketing expertise and programme management experience to strengthen IIHS’s capacity development initiatives and promote knowledge exchange and professional learning across India’s built environment sector.
