Her honors thesis is on understanding the political Economy of Software Industry in Erstwhile Unified Andhra Pradesh. She is interested in Development Economics, International Trade and using econometric methods to understand how data behaves.
At IIHS, Kasturi is working with the Urban Informatics Lab on PEAK – Mapping Bangalore’s Industrial Transformation; and on the Hungry Cities project. Her interests outside academia include carpentry, running and playing mridangam.
