Stuti is an economist by training and has experience in research and teaching. She has worked as visiting faculty at the Central University of Gujarat and Pandit Deendayal Energy University, where she taught postgraduate and graduate courses on International trade and finance, Comparative economic systems, Innovation and Knowledge Economy. She has also worked on Gujarat Social Infrastructure Development Society (GSIDS), Government of Gujarat (GoG) funded project on Human Development Report for Mahisagar district of Gujarat and Climate Change Department, GoG funded project on adoption determinants of solar PV rooftop technologies in the residential sector of Gujarat. Stuti completed her PhD in 2021, on green entrepreneurship and innovation in the RE sector of Gujarat, from the Centre for Studies in Economics and Planning, Central University of Gujarat. Her MPhil thesis narrates the socio-economic and environmental impacts of the Shipbreaking industry at Alang-Sosiya, Gujarat.
Stuti’s areas of interest include energy sector transitions, sociotechnical transitions, sustainability transitions, green innovations and entrepreneurship and energy justice with particular focus on developing nations.
