Shyam has over 25 years of diverse IT expertise in eGovernance, ICT infrastructure, software development, quality control, process excellence, tools and automation. His professional experience includes strategic leadership in a global IT environment, leading multisite global teams with high performing professionals. He has been an IT Consultant, working on eGovernance projects at SAPS with the Government of Madhya Pradesh. He previously worked as a Senior Director at Tecnotree heading Global Quality and PMO teams. He has been part of leadership and management teams at Diebold, Quark, Cisco, VeriFone and Hewlett-Packard.

 

As a technical researcher, Shyam has worked with Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) and implemented artificial neural networks and parallel computing techniques on astronomical applications and published articles in renowned journals. His research and work interests include eGovernance, data analytics, internet of things (IOT), ICT enabled education and technology for sustainable development.

 

At IIHS, Shyam heads the IT function. This experience in the IT industry is being leveraged in the education sector as he streamlines and automates practices and provides digital education services for enhanced efficiency, transparency and accountability.

 

Shyam’s other interests include reading and supporting those in need of help to transform their lives.
