Abstract
In the last two decades, there has been a significant push from the Government of India towards mega-infrastructure projects, particularly in the form of industrial corridors. As part of this strategy, particular nodes have been identified along these corridors for accelerated industrial development with the mandate to drive economic growth. These nodes are often 144 situated at the periphery of urban regions and governed by institutions created categorically to oversee the development of the node.
