Abstract

Open access is one of the growing and far-reaching ways of providing access to the scholarly literature made possible by the internet. The present study deals with open access journals accessible from the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) in the subject of science. published in various years, languages, countries and multidisciplinary subjects. The majority of journals are published in English language (47.67%) Majority of Journals were added to DOAJ in the year 2017 (9.78%). it is recommended that developing countries like India should publish more open journals in science.
