Abstract

IIHS researchers collaborated with a Bangalore-based non-profit organisation, Arghyam, to understand the current discourse on Integrated Urban Water Management (IUWM). They examined the capacities required to implement such a system, juxtaposing it with observed gaps in the Indian urban context. The study also discussed the nature of initiatives needed for making IUWM work and attempts to prioritise them in terms of impact. Lastly, it critically examined what Arghyam could do within this context.
