Background Note

This study has carried out an intensive review of different literature and data on Cuttack including the Hazard Risk and Vulnerability Analysis to identify key challenges in disaster and climate change resilience. This can help urban administrators, policy makers and  other stakeholders to develop a better understanding of the gaps in resilience and to prepare better strategies for the city’s development that incorporates disaster risk reduction and improved adaptation.
