Urvashi’s work spans the sustainability and socially conscious domains such as Earth Architecture, sustainable building practices and Housing for the Rural sector. She explored these domains by studying the Rural Housing typology of villages in Gujarat through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin). She has worked in Auroville, Tamil Nadu and also on residential and commercial projects in Delhi-NCR as a freelance Architect. She later worked with Architects’ Collaborative and Urbane – The design Workshop.
Urvashi is actively engaged in the social sector as an Educator and Mentor across various education platforms.
She is also pursuing her Master’s in Development Studies and is keen on research and implementation of new technologies, which address larger development and social issues through practice.
At IIHS, Urvashi is working with the Campus Development team.
