Tsomo Wangchuk has a Master’s in Urban Planning and a Bachelor’s in Planning from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. During her course of study, she pursued full-time internships in Puducherry, Delhi and Goa, in which she worked on various on-going projects related to preparation of Master Plans, Development Plans and Land Use Plans. She is skilled in software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD and Photoshop.


At IIHS, Tsomo works on a project that examines the customary land systems of Meghalaya. This builds on her B Planning study, which involved understanding implications of the Meghalaya Land Transfer Act on urban transformation in Shillong.


Besides work, Tsomo is a sports enthusiast and loves gardening. She also has a keen interest in humanitarian and ecological activities and volunteered in several events while she was in school and college.
