Madhumitha’s research interests are focused on climate change linkages with agriculture and development. She has expertise in quantitative research methodologies like econometric and statistical analysis. Her previous research at the Madras School of Economics studies the role of crop diversification in improving resilience in Indian agriculture. She has previously worked as a Research Intern at the Reserve Bank of India where she analysed the factors which influenced farmer’s decision to enrol in government crop insurance schemes.
At IIHS Madhumitha Srinivasan works with the Practice team on projects concerning climate change, climate finance and socio-economic components of energy transitions.
