An Immersion Learning Experience
Context-based Solutions for Total and Inclusive Sanitation (CSTIS) is an immersion learning course on inclusive sanitation. Drawing from IIHS’ deep experience in Tamil Nadu through the Tamil Nadu Urban Sanitation Support Programme (TNUSSP), this is a one-of-its-kind course that curates learning from practice for practice. Drawing from more than five years of on-ground experience, this unique course will give participants an inside perspective of the activities, processes, and complexities involved in addressing the sanitation challenge in urban areas in an inclusive and sustainable manner. The course particularly focuses on enabling and sustaining Faecal Sludge Management (FSM) through interventions across the full cycle of sanitation.
