Angshuman Das is currently working as an external consultant to IIHS. His primary work at IIHS is to assist the Design Lab in the development of IIHS campus at Kengeri. In addition to this, he contributes his expertise to other Design Lab projects. He has been in the architectural design profession for the last 15 years. He has participated in civil, services, and interior fit out projects ranging from small classroom spaces to large hospitality and industrial spaces. His work experience is regionally diverse as he has been professionally associated with organisations in Delhi and Bangalore and, consequently, has earned considerable experience through projects spread over the entire country. He has specific experience in coordinating services and structure into designs. In addition to professional experience in architectural design and planning, his involvement with product and packaging design has led him to work with projects for companies like GE Healthcare, Sun Pharma, Samsung, and BFL, among others.
At present, he runs his own individual practice and also collaborates with other individuals and firms on particular projects. His specific interests are in user research, illumination and acoustic systems, and design pedagogy.
He has also taught at RV college of Architecture in Bengaluru, and continues to teach in his capacity as an Associate Professor at CMR University School of Architecture.
