Robin Infant Raj earned MA in Development from Azim Premji University-Bangalore with special focus on environmental related issues. He is a development professional, currently working as a Knowledge Management-Specialist with the Tamil Nadu Urban Sanitation Support Programme (TNUSSP) project implemented by a consortium of organisations led by the Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS).


He has over six years of work experience ranging across the software industry, NGOs, government and academic institutions. Prior to IIHS, he had undertaken multiple roles and responsibilities including those of a Software Engineer-Satyam Computer Services Ltd., Hyderabad; Chief Operating Officer-Initiatives for Development Foundation, Belgaum; Project Fellow-National Centre for Sustainable Coastal Management, Chennai; and Research Associate-MICA, Ahmedabad. His research interest covers subjects on sustainable WASH, development economics, environmental sustainability, public policy, and climate change. He has authored a book chapter, journal article, Op-Eds, reports, and also presented papers at conferences.


He plays badminton, cricket, table tennis and  kabaddi, and enjoys swimming, and photography.
