Practice

Karuna has experience in litigation at the Supreme Court of India. She also worked as a Legal Associate practising in the area of Indirect tax law, especially Service tax and Central Excise. She researched extensively on the effect and implications of Goods and Services Tax (GST) on India’s economy, inequality and poverty.

At IIHS, Karuna works in the area of Land and urban policy, Law; its approach to Governance and Legal policy and Regulation.
