Founded in 1946 by philosopher and engineer, Ove Arup, with an initial focus on structural engineering, Arup first came to the world’s attention with the structural design of the Sydney Opera House.

The India Connection

Arup has done extensive work in India, including the redevelopment of New Delhi Railway station, and the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. Arup has been extensively involved in the IIHS curriculum co-creation and delivery.

Arup is one of IIHS’ anchor practice partners.
