Kishore V. Mariwala, a chemical engineer from MIT, spent his entire professional career with The Bombay Oil Industries Ltd., Kancor Flavours & Extracts Ltd. and Eternis Fine Chemicals Ltd. and Marico Ltd. – all promoted and started by the Mariwala family. During his professional career, Mariwala was actively associated with academic institutions, CSIR laboratories, professional and industrial organisations. He is currently involved in social work as a philanthropist supporting NGOs, especially those empowering women’s education and vocational skill development in rural areas.
Mariwala has started a new company, Koyla-Ki Pvt. Ltd. to recover valuable by-products from waste generated by processing agricultural products.
